At the start of 2009, Lil Wayne was the subject of an in-depth and thorough interview involving GQ and photographed by Terry Richardson. The popular fashion photographer has shared some photos from the original shoot. The Grammy-award winning Lil Wayne who is currently set to serve time behind bars and was slated to be sentenced for gun charges when a fire broke out at the courthouse yesterday. Depeche Mode and Hublot team up for a worthy cause in the release of a special 12 capsule watch collection based on Hublot’s signature Big Bang. Throughout the 12 watch designs are album artwork featured in landscape form along the 3 and 9 o’clock parts of the watch. Each watch also comes packaged with a deluxe vinyl version of the album featured, a USB key with a digital version of the album, a documentary, original album artwork, a framed gold CD and finally a signed photograph. The watches that will be auctioned off will benefit Teenage Cancer Trust.

EA Inc. said this week that The Beatles’ track ‘All You Need Is Love’ DLC will be available for purchase in The Beatles: Rock Band Music Store for Nintendo Co.’s Wii on Feb. 16 and Sony Corp.’s Playstation 3 on Mar. 4.
‘All You Need Is Love’ will be sold on Wii at 200 Wii Points and on PS3 at $2.00.

Back in March of 2009, Mishka opened their flagship store – 350 Broadway – in the heart of burgeoning South Williamsburg. Since then Mishka’s digs have at times hosted a variety of activities including art shows, various parties, crazy sample sales, celebrity drop-ins, and bitter impromptu Street Fighter 2 competitions. 350 Broadway went from being Mishka’s brick and mortar shop, to being one of Brooklyn’s hot spots. Exactly 344 days after, Mishka will be opening their sister store in Los Angeles and they hope to accomplish in Echo Park what 350 Broadway did in Brooklyn. Mishka LA will open its doors at 1547 Echo Park Blvd. on February 20th with a clear mission to be a part of the growing transformation of the Echo Park neighborhood.
